Your hard work, resilience, and determination have paid off, and we are incredibly proud of every student's achievement. Our Head of School, Susanna Cooke, expressed her pride, "We are thrilled to celebrate our students' achievements today. They have shown remarkable commitment and worked exceptionally hard. It is particularly pleasing to see so many students exceed their predicted scores. This is a testament to their dedication and the support from our dedicated staff, parents and carers. Everyone involved should feel proud today." Special congratulations go out to Jack Armstrong who achieved 7 grade 9's and 1 grade 8, Harry Graham who achieved 3 grade 9's and 5 grade 8's. Taylor Knight who achieved 2 grade 9's and 6 grade 8's and Dara Faseun who achieved 3 grade 9's and 5 grade 8's. This year, our academy has seen some brilliant outcomes and further improvements on last year's results as we continue to make positive progress and support our students to reach their full potential. We are especially pleased to see impressive results in key subject areas: 66% of students obtained a pass in English 77% of students obtained a pass in Maths 61% of students obtained a pass in both English and Maths combined It is encouraging to see some students remain within our Trust, the Gosforth Group, and join one of our successful Sixth Forms to study A Levels and vocational subjects. We are also delighted to see students opting for other pathways, such as apprenticeships, traineeships, or employment. View PostAll 55 well-fed and happy Mandarin students have returned home safely to their family after 9 days 7 nights abroad! On the very last day before heading to the airport, they had a calligraphy workshop where they made their own Chinese fan and visited the Beijing Urban Planning Museum and saw the whole of Beijing through the 3D models. Last but not least, on the coach journey to the airport, Miss Gao and Miss Chia concluded the trip by singing a Chinese song each at the students' request. How much fun has everyone had? View PostAs our trip is drawing closer to the end, we've joined the Chinese Architecture workshop to learn about the secrets of ancient architecture and Chinese cooking workshop to learn how to make dumplings! Meanwhile, we went to BeiHai Park for a stroll to cool down from the scorching heat after viewing the Bell Tower, Drum Tower and Beijing Hutongs. Our well-fed Year 10s will be arriving at Newcastle Airport on Sunday. Please be there on time to pick up your child, thank you!
